Gaststätte Knossos

We arrived around 9:15 pm and were still warmly welcomed by the staff. The food and wine (recommended by manager) were great, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The manager made us feel welcome and demonstrated care and friendliness toward all guests. Having recently moved to Heidelberg, I’m excited to have discovered this place and will definitely return.

I recently dined at Gaststätte Knossos in Heidelberg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with the staff being both respectful and friendly, making me feel very welcome. The highlight of the meal was definitely the grill and meat dishes. The flavors were authentic and delicious. Additionally, their salads were fresh, vibrant, and a perfect complement to the main courses. The restaurant was impeccably clean, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. Despite being centrally located, the atmosphere was remarkably quiet, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. One more thing worth mentioning is the pricing. Compared to other Greek restaurants in the area, Gaststätte Knossos offers very good value for money, making it an even more attractive option for a great dining experience. I highly recommend Gaststätte by Knossos to anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Greek cuisine in Heidelberg. It's a place you won't want to miss!

I had the pleasure of dining at this Greek restaurant during my time in Heidelberg, and I can honestly say it was the best food I’ve had here. The staff were incredibly attentive, patient, and understanding, especially given the language barrier. Their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Now, about the food — it was absolutely incredible! The lamb cutlets and potatoes were by far the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Every bite was full of flavor, and the quality of the dishes was top-notch. I truly can’t recommend it enough. The next time I’m in Heidelberg, I’ll definitely be coming back for another amazing meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!
